Trevithick Learning Academy created a new multi academy trust (Venture MAT) at the end of August 2016.
As a standalone academy we were very aware of the increasing pressure for schools to work collaboratively as part of a larger group, with the many benefits this brings to pupils and staff alike.
Our initial aim is to establish a MAT where all academies within the trust are recognised as high quality providers, producing outstanding outcomes for their pupils through creative and innovative endeavour. It goes without saying that all schools within the MAT will want to continue to develop their own unique characteristics and ethos within their local communities. We believe this is fundamental to the creation of a successful multi academy trust that grows through genuine partnerships, for the benefit of the children and families they serve.
